Lizard Glitter, created by Lizard King, has been been composed of poetry and music shows in the southwest for over 7 years now. These shows are a way of allowing people to feel and express things that otherwise might be stigmatized- they are a way to build community. They rotate around the axiom that everyone is deserving and capable of recovery.
These shows started after Liz got sober and needed a creative outlet- and realized other folks needed something else to do. These shows are spaces where people can connect and share their stories, while supporting recovery by destigmatizing conversations around mental health.
